Position SummaryFlint Cultural Center Academy is seeking a dedicated and motivated 8‑Man Varsity Football Head Coach to launch and lead a brand‑new high school football program. The ideal candidate will bring strong football knowledge, high character, and the ability to build a competitive and positive team culture from the ground up. This individual will be responsible for developing student‑athletes both on and off the field while establishing a foundation of discipline, teamwork, and excellence for FCCA football.

Required Qualifications
- Successful coaching experience, preferably at the high school level with 8‑man football.
- Knowledge and desire to start a football program at the high school level.
- Meet requirements for background check and fingerprinting.
- Alternate qualifications may be considered.
- Responsible for starting and building a brand‑new high school football program at FCCA.
- Plan and run all practices, weight room sessions, and off‑season workouts.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve individual and team performance.
- Model strong leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship for student‑athletes.
- Maintain punctuality and preparedness for all practices, games, and team events.
- Foster a positive, competitive, and team‑oriented culture.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, and other coaches.
- Support multi‑sport participation and collaborate with other athletic programs.
- Demonstrate professionalism, organization, and strong ethical conduct at all times.
- Strong background and high‑level knowledge of football fundamentals and strategy.
- Experience implementing best practices in coaching and player development.
- Strong organizational, motivational, and fundamental teaching skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with administration, staff, and fellow coaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to building a positive school climate and student success.
Stipend: $4,000
