CDL-A Drivers – Recent Graduates Included – Home Weekends-100% No Touch
Full Time
Regional account is looking for Class A CDL Drivers who are experienced and those that are just graduating truck driving school. This account is home weekends for your 34 hour reset with weekly pay of $1100-$1500 depending on your experience and how hard you run. This is all no touch freight.
Pay & Home Time- Guaranteed home time every week for a minimum of 34 hour reset.
- Average weekly pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,500. Trainees are paid $850-$900 per week during the 5-6 week training period, then run on a mileage rate.
- Starting pay rates of $0.56 to $0.65 per mile. Job is 100% no touch and 50% drop‑n‑hook. Drivers run 1,700-2,400 miles per week.
- Routes: west to Kansas, south to Georgia, east to Pennsylvania, north to Minnesota.
- Experienced drivers can have a rider (12 years or older) and a pet (40 lbs or less) from day one. Trainees can have a rider and pet after completing training.
- Benefits after 30 days include medical, dental, PTRO vision, and more.
- Orientation 2 days; company pays travel and food and pays $300 upon completion.
- Most trucks are Freightliner Cascadia models two years old or newer.
- Must live within 300 miles of Gary.
- Valid Class A License.
- No termination from a Class A CDL driving job in the last 12 months and no more than once in the last 5 years.
- No more than one on‑road at‑fault accident or DOT recordable accident in the last two years.
- No major DOT recordable accidents in the last five years, including roll‑over, jack‑knife, etc. All rear‑end accidents must be one year or older.
- No more than two moving violations in the last two years; no serious moving violations in the last year. Serious violations include 15+, seatbelt, hand‑held, leaving the scene, etc. A 30+ violation is a 3‑year disqualifier.
- No safety‑termination from last job.
- No failed or refused DOT drug or alcohol tests; no DUI in a personal vehicle in the last five years and never in a CMV.
