- Safely operate a Ram 5500 truck with gooseneck flatbed trailer to haul fabricated steel, materials, and equipment as scheduled
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Secure all loads properly following DOT regulations and company guidelines
- Communicate effectively with the shop team and logistics coordinator to ensure efficient scheduling and deliveries
- Load and unload trucks at the shop using a forklift
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and moving materials inside the facility
- Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, organizing, and material preparation when not driving
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for flatbed truck operation
- Experience operating flatbed trucks and gooseneck trailers preferred
- Forklift operating experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of load securing methods and DOT regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving materials
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies
- Combination of driving and shop-based work
- Physically active with regular lifting, bending, and standing
- Exposure to outdoor and indoor environments
- Full-time position; schedule may vary based on delivery needs
