Laboratory Logistics Supply Technician

Responsible for the receipt, inspection and delivery of materials, and equipment.

• Receiving and distribution of all stock to individual departments, as well as stock for clients.
• Routine rotation of stock and assisting in inventory control.
• Assists in management of courier services for laboratory system.
• Participates in lab quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Communicates and troubleshoots order errors and backorders with associated managers and supplies personnel.
• Performs other duties as required or requested.

• Basic understanding of ordering system.
• Ability to analyze inventory and follow proper protocols.
• Lifting 75 pounds or more with frequent walking and/or carrying of objects.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory system for accurate allocation of supplies and equipment.

• Heavy Work:
  Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
