Job DescriptionWood is seeking a professional in engineering to join its business unit Projects, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energies (OGNE) area. This opportunity is for in-office positions in Bogota with sporadic visits to the site as scheduled.
Responsibilities- Comply at all times with the Company's Corporate and local Policies and be consistent with our Corporate Values.
- Lead all required activities that clearly establish the purpose, goals, design bases, and scope of the assigned project.
- Know and understand all contractual conditions for the correct execution of the project.
- Prepare the project scope (HH budget, schedules, organization, risk management, workplace for the team, etc.) in accordance with the project execution standards.
- Ensure that the information required by the client for the execution of the project is available on time. If not, take corresponding actions.
- Direct the Discipline leaders within the project and be the point of contact for multi-disciplinary problems that require follow-up and solutions.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and correct budget execution, together with Discipline leaders, documents, projects, QA, HSSE, Subcontractors, etc.
- Take actions when necessary. Approve all deliverables before sending them to the client.
- Lead all Technical Safety activities.
- Ensure the engineering and integrity of the designs during project execution.
- Lead the "Quality on Time" Monitor and approve design changes and prepare all supported change orders.
- Support the development and update of the lessons learned database, as well as the implementation of these.
- Execute any other responsibility assigned by your immediate manager and according to the company's needs.
- Ensure compliance with the company's procedures and quality standards.
- Ensure the responsible and efficient use of the organization's assets (tools, materials, equipment, information).

Expected:
- Experience in engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector with minimum 10 years of experience
- Knowledge of typical PMI tools and Microsoft Office
- Intermediate level of English
