Description Of The JobThe Vehicle Homologation and Modification Technician will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing the technical documentation required for vehicle homologations, registrations, and legal modifications. Working closely with the Local technical team, this role ensures vehicles meet all regulatory and technical standards, contributing to the quality and safety of the services provided.
Specific Responsibilities
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
- Technical Documentation Preparation 70%
- Draft ITV sheets and technical documents for vehicle homologations, registrations, and legal modifications in compliance with Local and European regulations.
- Technical Support And Issue Resolution 20%
- Provide remote support and resolve inquiries related to homologations and modifications, in coordination with the Local technical team.
- Process Monitoring 10%
- Track documentation and progress of homologation and registration processes to ensure proper handling and completion.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical or Automotive).
- Previous experience in the automotive sector, especially in homologations, vehicle modifications, or technical documentation, is highly valued.
Required Skills
- Language requested:
Spanish and Minimum English level B1 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn Spanish and European vehicle registration and homologation regulations, including the Spanish Reform Manual.
- Proficient in effectively prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Capacity to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical reporting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in remote and multidisciplinary environments in diverse work environments.
