Senior NOC Engineer | Cisco Meraki / SD-WAN
We are looking for a Senior NOC Engineer to support a NOC operation in a telecommunications and managed services environment for corporate clients.
This role requires solid experience in network operations, monitoring, incident management, Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, Service Now/ITSM, troubleshooting, and technical escalations. The selected person will also act as technical support for NOC Engineers or junior profiles during incidents and escalations.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor infrastructure, network services, connectivity, availability, traffic, alarms, and security events.
- Detect, register, classify, and manage incidents in ITSM platforms.
- Perform diagnosis, fault isolation, and troubleshooting of network incidents.
- Support Cisco Meraki/SD-WAN environments, including dashboard, alerts, uplinks, tunnels, devices, wireless events, and performance degradation.
- Coordinate escalations with Tier 3 teams, engineering, vendors, carriers, and providers.
- Support change management, requests, problems, RFO, RCA, and post-incident reports.
- Document tickets, troubleshooting steps, communications, escalations, and resolution actions.
- Technically guide NOC Engineers or junior profiles during the operation.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in NOC, network operations, telecommunications, ICT, corporate technical support, or managed services.
- Experience in demanding environments oriented to SLA.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Handling of Service Now or similar ITSM platforms.
- Practical experience with Cisco Meraki/Meraki Dashboard.
- Experience monitoring or diagnosing SD-WAN environments.
- Knowledge in IPv4, IPv6, routing/switching, L2 Transport, Broadband, DIA, IPL, 4G Wireless, and wireless networks.
- Experience coordinating escalations with vendors, carriers, Tier 3, or engineering teams.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Availability to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays if applicable.
- Cisco Meraki certification.
- CCNA, CCDA, or Juniper Junos.
- ITIL/ITSM certification.
- Certifications in SD-WAN, cloud, networking, or security.
- Experience in RCA, RFO, problem management, or operational reports.
- Experience guiding junior profiles or NOC teams.
- Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday to Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
