We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Growth Analytics & Operations Intern who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.
Our Marketing Growth team runs the consumer programs that reach millions of shoppers — subscriptions, giveaways, surveys, and lifecycle campaigns across email, push, in-app, and landing pages. This role sits where marketing meets data, engineering and product. You'll write the queries that tell us whether a program actually worked, design the tests that answer questions we'd otherwise be guessing at, and translate between the marketing team and the engineers who build the surfaces we run on.
As a Marketing Growth Analytics & Operations Intern, you will play a critical role in measuring and improving the programs that drive our consumer business. A core focus will be writing the queries and building the reporting that tell us whether a program worked, and designing the tests that answer the questions we would otherwise be guessing at. In addition to analysis, you will work closely with Product and Engineering to translate marketing needs into clear requirements and to identify what we would need built to make new programs possible.
This role is well suited to someone with a technical background who is drawn to the business and product side of the work, and who wants exposure to how marketing decisions actually get made.
Answer questions with data
- Write your own SQL to pull campaign, cohort, and subscription performance.
- Track the metrics that drive the business: DAU, NTM, LTV, CAC
- Compare performance across time periods and segments, and flag the shifts that matter before anyone asks.
- Take ownership of the dashboards behind our decisions, and use AI to find the answers hiding in them
Design and measure experiments
- Help design A/B tests across channels — audience splits, variants, and success metrics defined before anything launches
- Write the post-test analysis: what worked, what didn't, what we do differently next time
- Own consumer surveys from request to results: define and query the audience, launch, monitor completion, report back what we learned, and optimize the process
Bridge marketing and engineering
- Turn marketing needs into specs and tickets an engineer can act on
- Investigate when something breaks — trace an issue through dashboards and logs back to its source
- QA new product features and surfaces, and help decide how marketing should be using them
- Spot underused channels and product surfaces, and propose how marketing could leverage them
Automate and improve how we work
- Use AI tools (Claude and similar) to build leverage into your own work — recurring reports, first-pass analyses, triage. If a task comes back every week, we'd rather you automate it
- Build automations and templates the rest of the team can use
- Own recurring operational queues and look for the pattern behind repeat problems instead of just clearing them
