CPA Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor deadlines and assist in managing staff workload and project goals.
• Supervise, train, and mentor bookkeeping and tax staff.
• Assign tasks and track staff performance and productivity.
• Promote efficient workflow and maintain a collaborative team environment.
• Oversee tax filing deadlines, client deliverables, and compliance requirements.
• Improve workflow processes and implement operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate with partners to meet client expectations.
• Manage client bookkeeping, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations.
• Stay current on tax laws, GAAP standards, and regulatory changes.
• Support client advisory services and special accounting projects.

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, and accounting principles.
• Experience supervising and mentoring accounting staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial reporting.
