As a valued member of our team, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Office Manager to join our dynamic organization.
About the Role:As a Business Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business office functions. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the office, including supervising staff, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the work of office staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and databases, including patient information, billing, and insurance claims
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OIG guidelines
Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve office efficiency and productivity
Manage cash handling and financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Coordinate with other departments, including clinical and therapy services, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Identify and address any operational inefficiencies or issues, and implement solutions to resolve them
Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones, responding to emails, and providing exceptional customer service
experience in a similar role or related field
- Long Term CareHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
