Clinical Role:

A Neurosurgery locums opportunity is available in Florence, Alabama for vacation coverage in May 2026. This inpatient assignment is based at a Stroke Certified hospital and includes 24-hour call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients.

Coverage Dates:

• May 7, 2026 - May 11, 2026

• 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM (24-hour call shifts)

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient

• Trauma Level III

• Stroke Certified hospital

• EMR:
  Medi Tech

Call Details:

• Coverage for assigned and unassigned patients

• 30-minute response time required

• Approximately 5 phone consults

• Average 5 patients seen

• 25% call back rate

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery required

• Fellowship required

• Active Alabama license required

• IMLC accepted
