As a Special Education Teacher, you'll lead an instructional team dedicated to K-12th grade learners, providing tailored support and creative instruction to a caseload of 12 students. This contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (7:15am-3:15pm, 37.5 hours per week), letting you focus on delivering high-quality educational experiences in a collaborative school environment.

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with significant cognitive impairments
• Familiarity with differentiated instructional methods and adaptive technologies
• Positive communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork
• Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
• Strong organizational abilities to manage tasks and coordinate with classroom staff

• Lead and supervise an instructional team in your classroom, ensuring every student receives personalized support
• Develop and implement engaging, individualized lesson plans based on each student’s unique needs and goals
• Maintain accurate records of progress, assessments, and interventions
• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students and staff
• Communicate regularly with families and other specialists to support student growth
