Adjunct Teaching Position
The University of North Alabama invites applications for adjunct (part-time) teaching positions expected to be available in the area of Nursing & Health Professions - Graduate Programs.
Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester. Payment for adjunct teaching is on a standardized university scale according to credit or contact hours taught.
A minimum of a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is required, plus 18 graduate hours in the desired teaching discipline.
Adjuncts are typically paid $800/credit hour or $2,400 per 3-credit course however, some differences may occur based on credit/contact hours taught, and the college/department in which you will teach.
