Adjunct (Part-Time) Teaching Positions – Nursing & Health Professions
The University of North Alabama invites applications for adjunct (part-time) teaching positions expected to be available in the area of Nursing & Health Professions – Undergraduate Programs. Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester. Payment for adjunct teaching is on a standardized university scale according to credit or contact hours taught.
Requirements- A minimum of a master's degree in nursing or a related field is required, plus 18 graduate hours in the desired teaching discipline.
- A current, unencumbered Alabama state nursing license is required.
- Official transcripts must be sent directly to HR from the issuing school via email or postal mail to be considered official.
- Adjuncts are typically paid $800 per credit hour or $2,400 per 3-credit course though some differences may occur based on credit/contact hours taught and the college/department in which you will teach.
