Clinical Supervisor - Nursing Undergraduate Programs

the university of north alabama invites applications for clinical supervisor (part-time) positions expected to be available in the area of nursing and health professions - undergraduate programs. Persons holding clinical supervisor positions are normally contracted for six to twelve contact hours per semester. Payment for clinical supervisors is on a standardized university scale.

application for this posting is an application for entrance into an approved clinical supervisor pool from which clinical supervisors will be selected each semester based on enrollment and need.

* this posting is for staff clinical supervisors. The posting is listed as “faculty” simply to use the shortened faculty profile application instead of the lengthier staff application and due to supplemental documentation requirements. Persons applying for and/or hired through this posting will be considered part-time temporary staff employees and will not have faculty status.
* a minimum of a bachelor's degree (bsn) is required; a current, unencumbered alabama or multi-state registered nursing license is required; three years of full-time nursing practice is required; and three years of registered nursing practice is preferred.

adjuncts are typically paid $800/credit hour or $2,400 per 3-credit course however, some differences may occur based on credit/contact hours taught, and the college/department in which you will teach.
