The University of North Alabama invites applications for adjunct (part-time) teaching positions expected to be available during the current term in the area of Interdisciplinary & Professional Studies. Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester.
Application for this posting is an application for entrance into an approved Adjunct Instructor pool from which instructors will be selected based on enrollment. Salary is based on the currently-approved adjunct pay scale according to credit/contact hours taught.
Adjuncts are typically paid $800/credit hour or $2,400 per 3-credit course however, some differences may occur based on credit/contact hours taught, and the college/department in which you will teach.
A minimum of a master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in the desired teaching discipline is required.
