Mortgage Loan Officer – Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures as well as consistent, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services.
- Establishes and maintains construction loan accounts and administers construction loan draws. Performs the builder approval process and builder setup. Supports clients and builders.
- Completes mortgage applications for submission to the loan processing and underwriting departments. Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral.
- At Regions, the Mortgage Loan Officer directs origination of residential mortgage loans from a borrower through a branch network, completing mortgage applications for submission to the loan process.
- Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements, manages a portfolio of customer relationships and seeks prospective opportunities.
- Authorizes and evaluates loan applications, guiding clients through the lending process while ensuring compliance with regulations.
