Therapist Position

As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals, families, and groups to improve their mental health and overall well-being. You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate life transitions, manage emotional challenges, and develop coping strategies. Your work will involve assessing clients' mental health status, creating treatment plans, and facilitating individual or group therapy sessions.

You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and crisis intervention when necessary. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing clients' quality of life and fostering resilience in the face of behavioral health challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling and psychotherapy.
  • Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized training or certification in group therapy, family therapy, or anger management.
  • Experience working with clients undergoing significant life transitions or trauma recovery.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to integrated care models.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
  • Facilitate anger management and life transition counseling to assist clients in coping with stressors.
