DialysisUnit
- Assures optimum quality patient care by serving as a resource person for other staff members, patients, and family. Coordinates patient care with other departments.
- Oversees treatment of medical and surgical patients needing dialysis procedures. Dialysis delivery of care includes assessment, problem identification, interventions and treatments, and evaluation of actual, potential or perceived physical or psychological problems. Procedures or treatments provided in Dialysis include but are not limited to: dialysis admission assessment, medication, IV therapy, administration of blood and blood products, pain control, O2 therapy, assisting physician with Quintons, dressing application and changes, Quinton Cath, declotting Quinton catheters, accessing AV shunt for diagnostic tests i.e. venograms, monitoring patient continually during Hemoreplacement treatment.

You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Plans and documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process.
- Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served including adult and geriatric patients.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred - Basic Life Support required
- Must have an active AL or Compact RN License
- 1-2 years experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
