Nurse Manager, Labor and Delivery - Florence, Alabama

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead a well-established Labor and Delivery unit in Florence, Alabama. • Lead and oversee daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit
• Ensure quality patient care, staff development, and nursing performance evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, and external nursing programs
• Support patient-centered, natural birthing experiences when desired
• Manage staff scheduling and address coverage gaps
• Serve as a key resource during emergencies and irregular hours

• Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or eligible for endorsement)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or commitment to obtain
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and L&D protocol
• Prior leadership or management experience in a clinical setting
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Must have a clean nursing license with no disciplinary actions

• 10+ years in the nursing field
• Experience in ICU or other specialty areas
