IntensiveCare Unit
- Our Intensive Care Unit specializes in caring for patients in the ICU using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This unit provides nurses the opportunity to develop strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills while caring for patients.
- Patients on this unit may include neonate, infant, early childhood, late childhood, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, older adult.
You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient‑care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred
- Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply
Schedule: 3x12, Nights 7:00PM-7:00AM
