As a Registered Nurse on our Labor and Delivery Department, you will play a vital role in our mission of Making Communities Healthier®.

At North Alabama Medical Center our team is staffed 24/7 with physicians, nurses and staff who are trained in providing quality care. Our team combines advanced training with compassionate service to be ready for you or your family when you need it the most.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
