Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Vascular (PRN)

At North Alabama Medical Center, you will be a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team and provide patient-centered care for patients in our Medical-Surgical Vascular unit.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

• Current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within six months of hire.
• Two to three years of experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

PRN; requires four shifts a month.
