Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Partum – PRN

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide post‑partum care on a PRN basis at North Alabama Medical Center.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
