Intensive Care UnitOur Intensive Care Unit specializes in caring for patients in the ICU using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The unit allows nurses to develop strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills.
Patients on this unit may include neonate, infant, early childhood, late childhood, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult.
How You’ll Contribute- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Current state RN license.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. - Basic Life Support required.
- ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- Experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
PRN - rotating shifts.
