Job Description:
Step into a rewarding travel RN contract in Labor & Delivery at a 9‑bed unit in Florence, Alabama. You’ll work 12‑hour night shifts (7p-7a) with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours, covering core responsibilities including fetal monitoring and assessment, postpartum care activities, and time‑sensitive emergency response support. This assignment includes weekly orientation on Mondays and requires float readiness to postpartum.
You’ll bring at least 3 years of RN experience and be prepared to manage a wide range of L&D scenarios such as normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension and preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. Credentialed support matters here—ACLS (or ALS-OB), NRP, EFM, and BLS are required—so your care delivery is ready from day one.
Expect a team‑focused, detail‑oriented pace on a designated 3rd‑floor unit using Centricity and Meditech, with Ceil Blue scrubs as part of the standard dress code.
Expect warm, humid conditions with occasional rain and plenty of sunny afternoons. Evenings can cool off a bit, making nights pleasant for being outdoors between shifts.
