Registered Nurse (RN), Post Surgical – Nights Your Experience Matters

At North Alabama Medical Center, the Post Surgical Unit offers an opportunity to develop strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills while caring for patients.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies post-surgical needs
• Perform post-operative assessments
• Perform wound care
• Timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Multidisciplinary collaboration

• Current state RN license (active AL or Compact RN License)
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome

Schedule:

3 x 12, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
