Registered Nurse; RN Operating Room

Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room – Full Time – Day Shift.

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at North Alabama Medical Center, you will utilize advanced plan-of-care interventions, support complex surgical procedures, and deliver compassionate post‑operative care. You will collaborate across disciplines, coordinate patient care, and participate in on‑call rotations.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs

• Current state RN license
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required);
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (required)
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care (preferred)
• Experience preferred; new graduates welcomed to apply

Monday through Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM with on‑call participation, including extended hours during the week and weekend on‑call coverage.
