Our Medical-Surgical Post-Surgical & Overflow Unit is a 32-bed inpatient unit specializing in the care of patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. The unit also supports medical-surgical overflow as needed. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and coordinated interdisciplinary care.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role will contribute by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
• Shapes exceptional patient journeys every day and leverages your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies medical-surgical needs.
• Performs post-operative assessments.
• Performs wound care.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Assists in multidisciplinary collaborations.

• Current state LPN license
• Basic Life Support within 14 days of hire
• One year of nursing experience
