As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you will support patients and community members and help achieve our mission of making communities healthier ®.

Our Post‑Surgical Overflow Medical‑Surgical Unit is a 32‑bed inpatient unit specializing in care of patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. Nurses typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and coordinated interdisciplinary care.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify medical‑surgical needs
• Conduct post‑operative assessments
• Perform wound care
• Document timely and appropriately in the medical record regarding medical necessity
• Assist in multidisciplinary collaborations

• Valid Alabama or compact state RN license.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic Life Support mandatory; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
