Registered Nurse – Charge RN – Days
The ICU at North Alabama Medical Center offers registered nurses the opportunity to care for a diverse, critically ill patient population while working alongside an experienced collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provides clinical leadership and oversight of hospital operations during assigned shifts.
- Serves as the first line of support for nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensures safe, effective patient care and adherence to nursing standards and rehabilitation philosophy.
- Coordinates patient admissions, staffing assignments, and unit workflow.
- Performs and supports accurate patient assessments, interventions, and documentation.
- Ensures completion and updates of interdisciplinary care plans.
- Monitors quality indicators and supports performance improvement initiatives.
- Communicates and escalates clinical concerns or unusual occurrences appropriately.
- Supports staff education, development, and regulatory compliance.
- Assists with staffing plans, scheduling, and management of nursing resources.
- Current state RN license.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. - BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

3 x 12 Full Time – Days
