Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, must work 2 shifts every 2 weeks

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Vascular unit, you will provide care to patients with complex vascular and circulatory conditions, including peripheral vascular disease, arterial and venous disorders, wound complications, post‑operative vascular care, and chronic conditions that require ongoing monitoring and education.
In this role, you will work closely with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Nurses are also given the opportunity to earn dialysis certification as part of their professional development.
Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsibly complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

- Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - Current Alabama or compact state RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire.
- Two to three years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
