Shades crest Health Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing with prior experience to join our team. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with the elderly.

• - Oversee the nursing staff and ensure that all residents receive the highest quality of care
• - Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• - Manage the nursing budget and ensure that resources are used effectively
• - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all residents' needs are met
• - Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff
• - Ensure that all nursing staff are up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and procedures
• -Prior experience with State surveys and state nursing home requirements
• - Maintain accurate records and reports

• - Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required;
  Master's degree in nursing (MSN) preferred.
• - Current RN license in the state of Alabama
• - Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a management role as a Director of Nursing
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• - Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
• - Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
• -Excellent multitasking and organization skills
• - Ability to lead and instruct others
• - Interpersonal skills
• - Verbal and written communication
• - Up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices, methods and tools
