American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 5 years of experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Details- Work on a 18-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend requirement, every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required
- Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Med/Surg specific clinical experience required
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
- Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the role
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
- Weekly orientations held on Mondays
