American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring 5+ years of experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

• Work on the Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
• 18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) for Alabama currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required
• Med-Surg experience required

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population
• Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the position
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Weekly Monday orientations
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
• Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
