American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a night shift with a minimum of 5 years of experience required.

• Work on an 18-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirements with every other weekend
• Floating required
• No call requirements
• Uses Meditech EHR system

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required
• Med-Surg experience required
• Team player with willingness to take ownership of the position
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active licensure verification through Nursys required at time of consideration

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric med-surg patients
• Scrub color required is royal blue
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
