Position Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Vascular – PRN – 12‑hour shifts; must work 2 shifts every 2 weeks. The role supports complex vascular patients, working collaboratively with vascular surgeons, wound specialists, and interdisciplinary team members.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments.
Additional duties include patient education, monitoring of post‑operative vascular care, and collaboration across the healthcare team. Nurses receive opportunity for dialysis certification as part of professional growth.

- Current Alabama or compact state RN license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Preferred experience:
two to three years of nursing experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
