American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring 5 years of experience and AHA BLS certification.

• Work on an 18-bed Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required
• Uses Meditech EHR system

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit for adult and geriatric patients
• Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the role is valued
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
