Application Sales Engineer – PMC

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional papermachine clothing sales team and drive growth
• Serve as the frontline point of contact for day-to-day customer needs
• Conduct paper machine audits and service calls
• Communicate customer activity, sales opportunities, & competitive intel to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
• Provide assistance & guidance with machine clothing installations
• Take ownership of a specified territory and devise strategies to meet sales objectives
• Build & maintain comprehensive databases on customer paper machine clothing
• Manage an expense budget within the guidelines provided

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred
• Candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience in industrial environments are encouraged to apply, regardless of formal education
• Military background with relevant technical training and leadership experience is highly valued
• Prior experience in customer service roles within manufacturing or factory operations is a strong asset
• Familiarity with paper making processes, industrial equipment, or technical sales support is a plus
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role with a focus on problem‑solving and operational improvement
• Requires strong computer skills, including a strong understanding of Word, Excel, Power BI, and general database management
