Account Manager – Drive profitable sales growth and market share for Siemens Energy Grid Technologies Portfolio (high‑voltage products) within an assigned territory.
How You’ll Make An Impact- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and industrial customers while gathering early‑stage project intelligence and conducting commercial assessments to qualify pursuits.
- Managing and expanding customer relationships by developing deep account understanding, conducting territory visits, and serving as the primary technical authority and trusted advisor for Grid Technologies solutions.
- Preparing and delivering tailored technical presentations, proposals, and quotations while representing Siemens Energy at trade shows, industry events, and technical seminars.
- Understanding the Grid Technologies market by tracking competitors, customer strategies, commercial trends, and emerging technologies to identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaborating with factories, engineering, product management, and cross‑functional teams to address technical requirements, support specifications, and influence buying decisions.
- Executing strategic sales plans by driving sales targets, developing accurate forecasts and account plans, managing Salesforce opportunity data, and leading contract negotiations to secure favorable agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) or business administration.
- 3 or more years of experience in the power transmission, substation, or utility market.
- Proven experience selling high‑voltage products (69 kV+), substations, services, and digital grid solutions.
- Strong relationships with key decision‑makers across utilities, EPCs, and engineering consulting firms.
- Demonstrated ability to drive regional sales growth, expand market share, develop accurate pipeline forecasts, and influence stakeholders through effective key‑account management.
- Applied expertise in electrical power transmission and early‑stage project development to support customer needs and strategic opportunities.
Travel, as needed (~40% domestically and on occasion international).
