As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Verification in Theodore, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
