You must have experience working on a strong combination of the following CAT equipment:
- Haul trucks and water carts: 777, 785 and 793
- Dozers: D9, D10 and D11
- Graders: 16, 18 and 24
- Loaders: 980, 988, 992 and 994
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Completing breakdown repairs and planned maintenance
- Troubleshooting using CAT ET and SIS
- Repairing engines, powertrains, hydraulic systems and electrical systems
- Accurately completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Working independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Extensive experience working on CAT heavy mining equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience completing major repairs and component change-outs
- Competence using CAT ET and SIS
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment screening
