Technology Engineer – Data and Automation, Enterprise Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Serves as the technical owner for enterprise Data Quality platforms and tooling
• Focuses on platform and capability design—not traditional ETL or batch pipeline development
• Designs, evaluates, and evolves technical solutions that enable enterprise data quality products
• Assesses data platforms, tools, and integration patterns (batch, event driven, API) for fitness of purpose
• Translates product requirements and governance needs into sound technical architecture decisions
• Ensures solutions meet non functional requirements including scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Documents architecture decisions, trade offs, and technical standards to support long term sustainability
• Applies systems thinking to complex, multi platform data environments
• Partners closely with Product Owners, engineers, and platform teams to align technical delivery with business and risk intent

• 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
• strong data quality frameworks knowledge
• metadata/lineage fundamentals
• analytical problem solving
• technical documentation skills (Agile/SAFe, SQL, and testing experience preferred)
• university / college degree, with specific skills and qualifications as per the role requirements
