Assistant Coach, Indoor Volleyball - Position Summary
The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Indoor Volleyball. This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with planning and organizing all phases of the women’s volleyball program. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities- Coaching and administrative duties as directed by the head coach
- Assisting in practice planning and court coaching (running drills)
- Position‑specific player development and skills training
- Recruiting
- Game preparation
- Scouting
- Community involvement
- Providing leadership and support for the vision and strategies of the head coach

Minimum Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree is required
- Experience recruiting student‑athletes is preferred and preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate a proven ability to recruit quality student‑athletes
- Playing/coaching experience at the intercollegiate level in volleyball is preferred
- Collegiate, club, or professional recruiting/coaching experience is preferred with preference given to candidates with three to five years of successful collegiate/club/professional recruiting and/or coaching experience
- Knowledge of and experience with NCAA compliance is preferred
- Knowledge of Division I volleyball and NCAA rules preferred
- A current, valid driver’s license is required
- CPR certification, renewed annually, is required
