Job SummaryPerform office and secretarial work of routine difficulty. This position works under close supervision. Positions at this level are assigned routine/standardized or recurring duties. Responsibilities include processing dependency petitions, performing data entry and review, maintaining accurate case records, and providing administrative support for Dependency Court operations.
SalaryThe Superior Court in Pinal County values your experience. We review every candidate for a salary offer that is both equitable and applicable to the position range. Based upon your direct experience and background, a salary offer will likely be presented within the range of $33,500 - $38,042.

Typical Classification Essential Duties- Answer questions from staff and the public.
- Compile information and prepare reports.
- Format, compose, type, and prepare routine correspondence.
- Maintain office records and files.
- Prepare and process confidential and sensitive documents.
- Schedule meetings.
- Screen telephone calls and route to appropriate individuals.
- Take meeting minutes.
- Responsible for inventory and ordering supplies.
- Gather information from various agencies.
- Receive and distribute correspondence and receive, sort, index, file, and retrieve forms, correspondence, and documents.
- Verify and complete records, forms, and documents. Enter requisitions and purchase orders.
- Receive and pay invoices.
- Schedule appointments.
- Promote and adhere to workplace values of accountability, commitment, and teamwork to enrich lives beyond expectation.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience performing general secretarial or office work.
- Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements.
- Arizona residents must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License upon hire; newly established Arizona Residents must have one within 30 days of hire.
- Knowledge of Business English, spelling, arithmetic, punctuation, and grammar.
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of current MS Office software.
- Knowledge of filing and recordkeeping.
- Skill in preparing and submitting reports.
- Skill in using data processing systems and other office equipment and machines.
- Ability to maintain complex filing systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.
The work is sedentary and may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amounts of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, including the human body. The work also requires the ability to crouch, finger, reach, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, walk, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.
