Job Overview
As the Lifestyle & Communications Coordinator, you will partner closely with the General Manager to enhance the overall resident experience. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating community programs and events, managing communications including the monthly newsletter and digital updates, and overseeing the scheduling of the clubhouse, amenities, and activity spaces. You will also provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and strong engagement across the community.
Compensation$28+ per hour, depending on experience. First Service Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client’s property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client’s directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
YourResponsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement resident programs, social events, and community-wide activities in collaboration with the General Manager, Board members and residents
- Attend and support community events and programs, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Oversee scheduling, programming and ticket sales for the clubhouse/annex, activity rooms, ticketed events and other community amenities in alignment with community needs and operational guidelines
- Coordinate reservations and scheduling of community spaces for resident clubs, meetings and events, including room setup requirements and coordination with team members
- Create, write, and distribute the monthly community newsletter, along with other communications such as mass emails, announcements and community updates
- Develop and support community communications and promotional materials for lifestyle programs and events
- Assist with development of budgets for community programs and events
- Coordinate New Resident Orientation presentations in partnership with the Community Manager, including promotion, logistics and setup
- Develop and maintain an active volunteer and resident engagement program, including recognition and participation initiatives
- Manage facility use tracking, room assignments, and space utilization to ensure efficient scheduling of amenities and common areas
- Assist the General Manager with meeting packets, welcome materials, mailings and special projects as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, Board members and guests via in‑person interactions, email and phone communication
- Support compliance and administrative tracking related to community programs, events and facility usage
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license and maintain state‑required auto insurance (if operating a company or personal vehicle for business purposes)
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and creative individual with a genuine passion for community building and event planning
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently
- Excellent public speaking and customer relations skills
- Experience working with and managing volunteers, including training, recognition, and engagement
- Exceptional interpersonal skills resulting in strong working relationships
- Outstanding communication skills
- Able to identify issues and resolve before problems arise
- Able to plan, organize, and execute resident programs and social events to create a sense of community
- Prior experience coordinating and promoting recreational and/or volunteer programs (required)
- Excellent technology and Microsoft Office Suite skills (required)
- Higher education in recreation, hospitality or communication fields (preferred)
- Prior experience in Property Management or HOA management is a plus
- Able to safely lift, carry, and pull up to 25 pounds
- Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Property walks may occur which includes lengthy walks on uneven surfaces
