Typical Classification Essential DutiesPerform a variety of tasks to enforce state regulations and County codes and ordinances governing land use issues.
Minimum Requirements To Perform WorkHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.
Three (3) years of progressively responsible general office and clerical experience.
Newly established Arizona Residents must have one
Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of Business English, spelling, and arithmetic.
Knowledge of clerical and office practices and procedures.
Skill in using data processing systems and other office equipment and machines.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.
Physical Demands:
The work is sedentary requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The work also requires the ability to finger, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a safe and secure work environment that may periodically have unpredicted requirements or demands. The hiring salary for this position is dependent upon experience, qualifications and position funding; starting salaries above the first quartile require additional approval.
