Music Director

We are seeking a Director of Music / Director of Worship who can joyfully and skillfully lead both traditional and contemporary worship within our growing church community. This ministry role is central to shaping the worship life of Christ the Victor Lutheran Church, and we are looking for someone who brings both musical excellence and a heart for service.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable conducting traditional liturgical worship and also capable of leading vibrant contemporary services. Familiarity with Pro Presenter, CCLI, and Multi Tracks is strongly preferred—though a quick learner with related experience is also encouraged to apply.

Our current Director of Music plans to step back sometime after Easter 2026. She currently leads from the keyboard, provides vocal leadership as needed, and regularly conducts a seasonal choir. We hope to find someone who can honor this legacy while bringing their own gifts and creativity to the position.

The Director of Music serves as an integral member of our ministry team and is expected to participate in staff meetings. A deep love for traditional Lutheran hymnody, paired with the flexibility and enthusiasm to shift seamlessly into a contemporary worship setting, is highly valued.
