Perform a variety of tasks at the discretion of the department. This is an Entry/Trainee position that works under close supervision. Positions at this level are assigned routine/standardized or recurring duties.
This position is not covered under the Pinal County Judicial Merit System. Incumbents in this position serve at the pleasure of their respective Appointing Authority. The employment relationship of incumbents in this position is "at will"; the employee may be terminated at any time, for any reason, with or without cause.

TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Assist Departmental staff in a variety of tasks.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of work‑related issues, customer records, and restricted County information.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D, or currently enrolled in High School or equivalent, and applying to the Summer Youth Employment Program.
- Arizona residents must have an Arizona Driver’s License upon hire; newly established residents must have one within 30 days of hire.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Customer service standards and protocols.
- Skill in providing effective customer service, and dealing tactfully and courteously with the public.
- Skilled in following verbal and written instructions and procedures.
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co‑workers.
Independent body mobility to stand, walk, bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time and/or drive a vehicle. Manual dexterity to reach, grasp, write or use a computer keyboard; vision sufficient to see/read; hearing and speaking to communicate with customers in person and over the phone.
WORK ENVIRONMENTPosition is located in an indoor office environment.
