High School Head Coach

The High School Head Coach is responsible for leading and managing athletic programs for high school students. This role involves developing competitive sports teams, promoting athletic excellence, and ensuring the holistic development of student-athletes. The High School Head Coach will design advanced training programs, oversee team activities, and prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of coaching experience with high school students is preferred. Strong understanding of advanced athletic training methods and competitive sports. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Certification in first aid and CPR, as well as any certifications required by the Arizona Interscholastic Association. Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and equitable athletic environment.

Work Environment:
The High School Head Coach will work in a school setting, involving both indoor and outdoor activities. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required to accommodate practices, games, and events. Terms of Employment Salary commensurate with the Governing Board approved coaching salary schedule. Hours per day as determined by the specific assignment. Benefits as assigned for this position.

Clearances Criminal Justice/Fingerprint Clearance. Measles/Mumps/Rubella Immunity/Vaccination. Valid I-9 form.
